1994 – MXF Standard first drafts - A team started in 2000 the development of a reference MXF software implementation that accompanied the development of the first drafts of the MXF standard, 4 years before the standard was published, at INESC, Porto.

2002 – INESC spin-off. A new company was born. The same team creates MOG Solutions and applied the gathered and matured know-how to develop the first commercially available MXF software product, the award winning MXF::SDK.

2003 - MOG Solutions and Institut für Rundfunktechnik (IRT) - Industry leaders partner to develop the first comprehensive implementation of a MXF SDK, fully compliant with the future SMPTE standard. This product has leverage standardized and proven technologies; enabling rapid development of MXF based products.

2004 – Pro-MPEG's MXF Prize for Outstanding Innovation in MXF Product/System Design at Las Vegas, Nevada (April)

2005 – XL Partner joins MOG - XL Partner Technologies emerged developing solutions based on electronic systems operating under extreme conditions.

- TheScribe product wins Broadcast Engineering Pick Hit Award at NAB Las Vegas, Nevada(April)

2006 – NBC'S COVERAGE OF THE TORINO OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES - MOG Solutions developed core MXF based technology that allowed NBC to take full advantage of the metadata and HD coverage of the Torino Olympic Games. MXF PROXY ENCODER ENABLES NBC WITH ON-THE-FLY METADATA IN A MPEG-4 MXF FILE DURING COVERAGE OF THE TORINO OLYMPICS, February 10-26.

2007 – Toboggan MediaTransfer (discontinued product) wins Broadcast Engineering Pick Hit Award at IBC 2007, Amsterdam (September)

2008 – NBC'S COVERAGE OF THE BEIJING OLYMPIC GAMES - MOG Solutions provided full Toboggan Product Line for NBC's coverage of the Olympics... TOBOGGAN enabled NBC to automate and interface its media asset management systems, editing suites and video servers for NBC's coverage of the Beijing Olympics.

2009 – NOVA TV catches the MXF TRAIN with MOG Technologies - One of the most important TV station in Croatia start experiencing the benefits of the technical innovative features provided by the newest mxfSPEEDRAIL F1000 Ingest System, built by MOG.

- NDR to equip its OB Vans with mxfSPEEDRAIL - Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR), a German Public Broadcaster, has selected MOG's mxfSPEEDRAIL to equip their production OB Vans for the SD and HD video capture and for file-based ingest.
