MAM4PRO | Playing files and sub clipping

We have new product features to share with you:

MAM4PRO | Playing files and sub clipping

A very interesting tool available in MAM4PRO, which our customers can take several advantages of, is the Player.

It allows turning the playback operations into simple and solid tasks by enabling frame-accurate SDI/IP playback from all professional formats and codecs through a simple and intuitive interface.

Another advantage is that these playback operations can either occur locally (on the server where MAM4PRO is installed) or remotely through another computer (with the web browser pointing to the address where MAM4PRO is installed).

While a user is playing his clips, he has another very advantageous feature: the sub clipping.

Sub clipping allows our customers to select one or more parts of an asset and perform an operation on only those parts instead of the entire asset.

Here’s how to try them out!

Create a new Ingest Workflow, like this one.

In the Dashboard, play the asset you want, mark the beginning and end of the clip and click the “Add to Clip List” button.

Note that clips appear in the “Clip List” widget.

After that, in the “Job Control” widget, select the previously created workflow and click the “Run Workflow” button.

After running the workflow, the clips will be properly located in your output storage.
